Is this a Civil War Store Card / Token?   This rectangular piece with precut holes at each corner features a bust of Lincoln with crossed swords on one side and '50' on the reverse side, obviously designed to look like paper currency.  Does it represent 50 cents?  The previous owner left a note stating he thought it was a sutler's token.

We have NO idea what this is, but those of you who collect this era of token will probably know.  We could not find a picture of a similar example on google.

Please see our other auctions listed this evening and this coming week featuring more Civil War-era store cards / tokens.   We will happily combine multiple items in one package to save shipping charges for you.
