Picked up this very cool little vintage case which will make a great portable valve mic pre. Looks to be early 1940s and was an MOD test unit.   Completely rebuilt to a very high standard

Being built with a single chan EMI REDD47 style mic pre with vintage EF86 and ECC88 valve stages, a vintage mic input transformer via XLR, transformer balanced line output, 1 x 1/4" Hiz DI input so great for bass/guitars too.

Mic input level with a rotary gain switch. Internal toroidal power supply also fitted. Great little unit which will sound superb and a bargain price too...
