4 Western Electric 404A 5847 F-52983 tubes. Tested on WE Cardmatic Tester. 

The tubes are only labeled with the Western Electric 404A and F-52983, not with 5847 (which are the same tubes).

The tubes were tested on a Calibrated Cardmatic.

During the tests the tubes were checked for H-K leakage, shorts, and gas.

The cardmatic scale is from 0 to 100.  50 marks the the transition from replace to good.  A reading of 100 does not mean the tube measures 100% of the gm listed in tube manuals.  

For a 404A tube a reading of 73.5 equals the gm specified in the tube manual. 

New tube spec is 12500 mhos

Tube 1 - 78 = 13260, code 6252

Tube 2 - 68 = 11560, code 6252

Tube 3 F-52983 - 60 = 10200, code 6239

Tube 2 - 65 = 11050, code 6239

Test results are written on tubes which can easily be removed with a moist paper towel.
