This is a very rare book in German and published in 1938, during the Nazi Party government of Adolf Hitler. It is entitled "Schlag Nach ... Wiffensimerte Tatsachen Aus Allen Gebieten" which in English translates to - -Look It Up...Knowledged Facts From All Areas - -. 

It defines in typical German detail just about everything a German should know to live

in Nazy Germany at that time. Very detailed as seen in just a few of the total of 670 pp illustrated in my photos. 

Many areas in 1938 are covered including:

Die Wehrmacht - The Army;

Die Zahl - The Number - i.e., division, multiplication; 

Kraftfahrzeuge - Motor Vehicles;

Der Stoff - The Fabric;

Kultur - Culture - i.e. Music, Instruments;

Verkehrszeichen - Traffic Signs; 

Deutsche Flaggen - German Flags (not shown here because of offensive symbols, i.e. the SS, the Swastika. References on airplanes as well. 

An excellent historical book for those interested in the German way of life under dictator Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany in 1938.
