Artisan Miniature Dollhouse IGMA Barbara Raheb RARE Mother Goose Book 1980 Red
"Mother Goose in Story and Rhyme" is a delightful, bite-sized treasure, perfect for being cradled in little dollhouse children's hands or displayed in a miniature nursery. Perhaps it would be nestled amongst tiny teacups or perched on a shelf for some literary magic. It is a vintage, rare and hard-to-find treasure, perfectly scaled for the 1:12 dollhouse setting. It was lovingly created by hand by the talented IGMA Fellow, the late Barbara J. Raheb. A limited number of 300 of these books were ever made, and this book is number #255. It is hand signed and dated 1980. Sadly, Barbara stopped making her tiny books back in 2002, after losing her eyesight due to macular degeneration, making this an especially wonderful find. Hardbound with a crimson red pyroxylin cover with the gold gilt whimsical silhouette of Mother Goose herself, aloft on her trusty broomstick, promising adventures within. These cherished rhymes have captivated children for generations, fostering a love for language and rhythm. It has never been displayed and is in perfect condition.

This miniature came from a wonderful lifetime, BEAUTIFUL miniature collection, all collected by one incredible woman, Grace. She was passionate about artisan made miniatures. Her collection consists of thousands of the most incredible pieces, there are notes and receipts with most every miniature as well as correspondence letters from artists. It is an honor to bring her collection to miniature dollhouse collectors. As with all artisan pieces, there was only ONE made, so if you are interested, there won't be a second chance to acquire some of the most special and amazing dollhouse treasures I personally have seen. Every single piece in this collection is PERFECT, all has been stored and untouched for at least 20 years. Enjoy!
