Wow! What a stunner! I couldn't stop taking pictures of it. It's so pretty. This is an antique Japanese covered dish with two handles. I'm not sure what it was meant to hold... biscuits ...sugar ...? It is hand decorated with pink and yellow flowers. Everything is outlined in raised gold. I believe it's called moriage. The porcelain is translucent but has some weight to it. It is stamped with " hand painted Nippon" with a leaf. It has some issues that are highlighted in the photos. There are a few cracks in the glaze on the interior.
