PRIOLITE Radio Remote Control RC

PRIOLITE radio remote control

All Priolite flash units work perfectly with the Priolite remote control, which is attached to the hot shoe of the camera.

Almost all functions of the flash unit can be controlled remotely. The remote control shows the performance of the device and its lightning readiness. By organizing in 4 teams with 9 devices each, a total of 36 devices can be controlled individually.

The system works in the 2.4 GHz frequency range, which is approved worldwide for such applications.

The remote control is powered by 3 AA batteries.

Comfort through bidirectionality

The bidirectionality of the remote control ensures that the displays and performance on the flash unit are synchronized with the displays on the remote control. If the power is adjusted on the flash unit, this adjustment of the remote control is communicated and vice versa. Likewise, the flash readiness of all flash units is transmitted to the remote control and signaled by the green lamp on the test button. If several flash units of a group are used, Ready is only signaled on the remote control when even the slowest device is ready to flash again. False triggerings are thus excluded.

Flexible division of devices into groups

Within one of the groups A to D, the flash units involved can be controlled individually. However, if a flash is triggered, all flashes of a group trigger synchronously. This eliminates the need for the all-function in some systems. The ID-ON button allows the devices to be put into stand-by mode. The all-button of the Priolite remote control allows the once found light balance to be maintained when using several flash units and to change all devices symmetrically by a certain aperture value.

Quick and easy cut-o-way with the Quick Mask function

With the newly developed Priolite Quick Mask function, motifs recorded in the studio can be perfectly freed within seconds. Two groups of flashes are required for the light setup: one group illuminates the main subject, the other the background. By means of exposure rows, two shots are taken in a very short time - in an image editing program, the layers can thus be calculated with a mouse click. Priolite Quick Mask has been around since 14. August 2014 integrated as standard in all new remote controls.
