Up for sale is a very old Original Knickerbocker leather tackle box. Has the original Knickerbocker brass logo emblem on the inside of lid. Made in the U.S.A. approximate age 80 to 100 years old from the 1920's to 40's. In really great condition for it's age. Size 16" long x 9" wide x 8" high. It is still in great condition with ageing to leather and some cracks. There is little to no separation on on the side seams. Please look at all photos. Has a worn handle. All aluminum trays and hinges are in really great condition with a couple of dents. My late husband used it to display old fishing lures. Can still be used to Display Old Lures or Use Every Day fishing if you want too. It says Eagle Lock Co. Terryville, Conn. USA on lock and latches. Knickerbocker used these latches and locks on all there tackle boxes. There is a J.C.S. stenciled in the top lid. You can research the item on the internet and this company made different items but this one is a tackle box...When my late husband purchased he was told by the original owners son his dad was an avid fisherman who lived in Wisconsin and fish all the lakes.
