You are bidding on a classic dollhouse or room box framed artwork, perfect for the 1:12 scale miniature setting. 

Up for auction is an estate find from artist Pawnee McEntire.  

Here the artist has created an oil on board portrait of a young boy in a red dress holding a pony whip.   She has meticulously captured the mid-1800's style of the Prior-Hamblin school of American folk art painting.  Incredible artist representation in miniature!!!!! 

About the Artist:

Pawnee McEntire's work is represented in the Shenandoah Valley Museum where she provided paintings for a replica mansion from Gone With The Wind.  (See photos of the miniature paintings in the exhibit).  She is also famous for her portraits of the Fisrt Lady Tea Party and was chosen to paint the DC Easter Egg for the White House Museum and had the opportunity to pose with the sitting First Lady. This is one of many accolades throughout her painting career.

Frame:  Handmade, wood frame finished in a painted gold patina.
