Vintage 1948 excellent all around beautiful Royal typewriter model KMM made by Royal Typewriter Co. , serial number KMM 14- 3764156. Very nice typewriter and in beautiful, clean cosmetic and working condition. It does show some signs of use in a couple places (back tab area has a couple of wear marks) as shown in the pictures. The serial number dates this typewriter in the 1948 era. It has a beautiful black textured enamel finish in great condition. It does have an oversized 14” carriage. Very nice black keyboard with chrome trim In great condition. Graphics and chrome are very good. The typewriter types very well. Keys strike and return and carriage advances as it should as you type. The paper feed works well, backspace works, ribbon feed and ribbon are good, bell, and tab works. Margin release and magic margin set are all working. It has been cleaned and serviced. Feet are good. Types very well in elite, 12 cpi, as shown in the example. Chrome is very nice. Great typing piece with some signs of wear. Looks great. Please no PO Box.
