A very nice, early combo “Glendale 2 in 1” eyedropper fountain pen & pencil in Ebonite (Smooth Black Hard Rubber) with a 14k fine stub flex nib. This pen is in good vintage condition showing signs of age and wear with a few marks, nicks, and dings. Neat accommodation clip that show wear and possible repair (?). Strong barrel imprint reads “Glendale 2 in 1”. Pencil extruder works well by spinning. Section screws out smoothly for eyedropper filling. Clean cap lip with no chips or hairlines. Barrel and cap have lightened some from years of oxidation. Carefully cleaned inside and out during restoration. Cap screws on and off smoothly and posts firmly. The 14k nib works well but has a crack on the left tine (pictured). This nib offers a fine stub line with semi-flex abilities. Care should be used not to “over flex” this nib when writing. Please see writing sample in photos. This pen measures approximately 5 15/16 inches (150.7mm) in length capped.
