Scarce original 1st UK mono pressing of the classic debut LP by The Who, “My Generation”.

Brunswick label, 1B/1B matrix endings.

The vinyl visually grades G+ to VG- with lots of light scuffs and non feelable marks. No feelable scratches. It plays much better than it looks however. There is some crackle between tracks and the first 2 tracks of side 2 have crackle evident throughout, although not overpowering. The rest of the album plays with powerful and mostly clear audio. The odd light crackle or soft click. It certainly is still an enjoyable listen and has no loud pops, clicks, sticks or jumps. Track 1 and 2 (side one) play grade VG and the rest is closer to VG+ in my opinion.

The sleeve is VG. It has had a seam repaired with tape at some point along the top edge. This has left glue residue on the rear but the seam has now been re-glued. It has light creasing and ring wear (mostly noticeable on the matte back). Small tear on opening edge. It’s showing it’s age a bit but no major damage.

Original inner is missing but a new plain white poly lined inner is supplied.

Overall this visually is showing its age a bit but is still a very playable original 1st pressing.
