Thunder, Lightning, Hail, Rain, Snow, Wind, etc.  The most useful Geometrical Figures defined and constructed: and the use of the Globes and Maps.  Illustrated by a Variety of Examples.  The whole adapted to the Capacity of Youth by W PERKS printed for the Author, London, in 1792.  First edition.  This comprehensive early atlas for young people includes a wealth of information and detail about the world in the late 18th century.  There are 17 fold-out colour maps (10 are missing), of Europe; Sweden and Norway; States of Flanders and Brabant; Holland; France; Switzerland; Germany; Poland and Prussia; Italy; Spain and Portugal; Hungary; Turkey; Russia; Asia; Asiatic Turkey; Indostan; and Africa.

Brown leather boards which are very worn with large patches of leather missing.  Blind stamped lettering GEOGRAPHY on the spine with wear to the leather.  Spine and front board have come away from the text block.  Name of previous owner on the front endpaper.  Foxing and browning to pages.  Binding is loose and 5 maps are detached, but all other pages are intact and the book is in very good internal condition for its age.  415 pages.  17 x 11 cm.
