Here is a stunning, all original, Victorian Singer treadle sewing machine, fiddle base, model improved family or 15-1  dated 1886 by serial number 7463261. . Last patent date on the beautiful front slide plate is 1883.

This gorgeous antique Singer is truly beautiful, superb walnut case with two drawers and a gorgeous coffin lid with Singer logo intact. This all  antique treadle has the original spool holder in walnut, original iron support for the flip up extension to the table, beautiful original solid brass ornate drawer pulls.

Remarkable Singer quality as this 138 year old sewing machine still sews a great stitch as seen in my photo. Amazing that it runs as smooth as the day it was made 138 years ago. We tested the bobbin winder and tensioner and stitch length adjustment and all was in perfect working condition. It runs beautifully and the,stitches were perfect top and bottom stitch.

This is a machine that is becoming very rare and in such good condition as this one quite hard to find! The cast iron treadle base is superb, very ornate iron work, patent date stamped into the iron of 1884, gold lettering present on the treadle base Singer logos and the treadle runs beautifully with its original wood pitman arm. The original black lacquer on this base shows very little wear.

This is the complete treadle sewing machine and includes the machine head, beautiful coffin lid, table with dovetailed drawer, superb original cast iron treadle base and many of the original attachments and the bobbin is in the machine. This machine uses regular Singer 15x1 needles.

Condition of cabinet , treadle base and coffin lid  is excellent, the machine runs smoothly and,sews,a great stitch, has beautiful decals with antique wear present as seen in photos.

Comes with a few,attachments, and the bobbin in the machine. What a superb show piece this will make.
