For sale is Volume 1, Issue10 (August 10, 1953) of Tempo published by Pocket Magazines, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.  There is cover wear apparently from having it in a pocket.  It is complete and there is no writing in it nor are there any torn pages.  The cover and all pages are tight with the original staples.

The stories in this issue range from football, women's fashion, theater and movie tidbits, religion, politics, world affairs, true crime.  There had recently been a truce in the war in Korea and there were articles about the friction between South Korea/Britain and the US over continuing the war and/or letting North Korea and "Red China" into the United Nations. It is almost like time travel back to early 1950's America.  If you want to know what life was like for your parents or grandparents shortly after the end of World War II, this magazine is a must.
