Wonderful solid silver link belt with a large oval openwork buckle depicting  a rooster; each link is engraved with traditional foliate and feathered design.

The buckle is marked with several marks, including '足银'  (pure silver).

The belt is adjustable and will fit up to UK size 14.

Made by the Straits Chinese (Baba Nyonya / Peranakans) that settled in the Malay Peninsula, Indonesia and Singapore. Such belt were traditionally used by ladies at weddings and other festivities.
