This listing is for the individual specimen of Giant Arborvitae /Western Redcedar (Thuja plicata') shown in the photos, 2 year old plants grown in 4” pots.  


Giant Arborvitae aka Western Redcedar is a large growing conifer with rapid growth rate. Matures to around 70 feet under cultivation with broadly pyramidal form. Makes a beautiful and impressive tree as it matures. Great for a large focal specimen evergreen and ideal for wind breaks and privacy screens. Native to Pacific Northwest


These are grown from rooted cuttings from parent tree growing here at the nursery. Our parent tree is from “interior” genotype population which has greater heat and cold adaptability compared to the coastal genotype.


Easy to grow.  Hardy USDA zones 5 through 7. Plant in full sun to part shade. Prefers good drainage and is adaptable to most garden conditions.
