He is one of the writers of Bollocks to Alton Towers.

Morris was one of the founders of the Framley Examiner website. 

He is also lead singer in the band Candidate.

In October 2015, it was announced that Morris had co-written a series of Ladybird books for adults with Jason Hazeley. 

The eight books, which parody the style and artwork of the company’s classic books for children, include the titles The Hangover, Mindfulness, Dating and The Hipster and published in 2015.
