Since it was introduced to the U.S. in 1759, this pine has been planted as both a beautiful landscape tree — with its dense, dark green crown — and a working tree that restores strip mines and scarred land, stabilizes soil, and tames the wind.

We grow the plants ourselves, we try to ensure that the plant is mature, since an adult plant can survive your mistakes and long-term transportation; Also, an adult plant quickly takes root and has high immunity from diseases, unlike a starter plant. Always use a good, well-lit, well-drained planting medium for planting. - It is better to have too much drainage material and require more frequent watering than to have too dense a substrate which will eventually lead to root rot. Regular use of fungicides and feeding the plants with a small dose of liquid (water soluble) fertilizer is a huge help in successful planting (I use HB 101 and a special Epsom salt for plants). Place the plants in a bright location outside, but not in direct sunlight. They must perk up again. Plant the plant along the edge of the pot - do not wrap it up. After a few waterings, your plant should reach a level 1/2 to 1 inch below the rim of the pot - do not lower the plant below this level. you may have damage to the leaves during shipping - this is normal and only cosmetic - new leaves will grow quickly with proper care - We do our best to package your plant with care to cause minimal or hopefully no damage to its leaves damage it, but it happens.
