Turned from a salvaged piece of rare and beautiful Pacific Yew wood. The Vase came out really great and I love how it looks!  Amazing colors and grain and even some burn marks on the Live edge! (It was found in an area that was burned by a huge forest fire!)

It's 6 1/4 inches tall and 5 1/4" diameter at widest part.

Weighs 6 1/2 ounces.

There's a few cracks that I filled with sawdust and epoxy - Just adds to the character of the piece!

 

  Finished with 2 coats satin polyurethane for a nice soft shine and lasting protection.

Initialed & dated on bottom of piece.

All of my Yew wood pieces are made from salvaged/dead wood.  Sustainably sourced from fire and storm killed trees.
