This beautiful piece is a Handpainted Folk Art Metal Decorative 12" x 9" Bird Cage / Terrarium.

Metal cage has been hand-painted in a beige and green (pale teal) scheme with flowers added throughout.

Cage measures approximately 9" L x 12" H x 6.5" W.

Cage opens at the top which makes it easy to insert plants, flowers, or to prepare a creative decorative display inside. There is also a large ring for hanging.

It shows both age and wear, and *could* be an antique but its date of creation, origin, and creator are all unknown. It is unmarked. As for details on its condition, honestly, I don't know what to say. It's not "Like New": it looks old, there are some scratches to the art and painting, etc. But there's nothing glaring as far as no missing bars in the cage, etc. Please scrutinize the photos as they will give a better idea of its condition.
