This is my 2010 TGB (Taiwan Golden Bee) 50cc scooter.

This scoot is a bit of a bitser.  It's a 2 stroke 101R with matching frame number to the V5 which is in my name. I bought it as an incomplete project which I completed late last year and MOT’ed.

I have no idea how many true miles it has done as it has had a replacement speedo. Speedo says 2566.7 but that means nothing..

I bought this for my son, but I ended up using it for work and it's been a fab little bike.

I MOT’ed it late December 2023 which means it's good until the end of the year. 

Good stuff:

2 good tyres, Nice matching white alloy wheels, new battery, new carb, new air filter, new fork gaiters, all lights work, indicators work, horn works, brake lights work, expensive exhaust fitted (second hand but good), Electric and kick starter work and there no play in headstock. 

Not so good:

The scooter has some parts fitted from other scooters . The forks are from another scooter, the headlight is from another scooter, and the rear light has been fabricated (but compiles). Clocks are from another scooter so mileage is not correct, Fuel gauge isn’t accurate. The speed shown on the speedo is not even close. In fact I have placed a black dot on the speedo where I have measured it on my phone to be 30 MPH. It won't do 40 so 30 is the only useful number you need to know lol. The seat opens and closes but doesn’t lock. 

The scoot has a 2 stroke engine. The auto oiling system has been removed and its pre pre-mix for reliability. I run it on 50-1 (2%) premixed petrol. It starts easy enough and the scooter accelerates MUCH quicker than a 4 stroke engine.
