MOTO GUZZI Le Mans Mk 3 1984

I had a Le Mans Mk 3 in the nineties and decided three years ago to take a step into the past and buy another one.. Whilst I find it ok to ride, thirty years on it is a little on the heavy side so I have decided to sell.

20/07/2021  59397 miles   I bought this Le Mans with no MOT but had a good service history right back to 1984 with J.S.Gedge.
in East Sussex.   Has Lafranconi 24 Riservato Competizioni silencers, electronic ignition and an A850                                                 registration no. original tool kit plus owners handbook.  It needed two new tyres plus inner tubes /                                                         indicators & brake lights checking.

Passed MOT test in August 2021.

20/10/2023  59454 miles   Fitted new Motobat AGM quadflex 12V 32AH battery

16/05/2024  59460 miles.  New MOT.     No need for MOT as over 40 years old. Doesn't need road fund tax after April 2025 when it                                              qualifies as an historic vehicle.

16/05/2024  59466 miles.  Oil & filter change. Removed centre stand & cleaned, refitted with new springs.

There are some spares to go with it notably the right hand original switchgear/grip that was removed by a previous owner to fit a Tommaselli throttle assembly.

Small dent in tank that could be attended to and some work needed on the exposed parts of lower frame.

NOTE: The clutch tends to snatch a bit, whether it will improve with use and/or adjustment or whether it needs looking into more deeply I am not sure. I have allowed for this repair in the starting price.

Reading through the extensive paperwork, it has been well looked after in the past and with a little work, would make a good bike in the future that has a nice patina.

Payment by cash or transfer.
