My grandmothers vintage Singer Model 221-1 Featherweight Portable Sewing Machine with Foot Control is a rare find for collectors and sewing enthusiasts alike. With its black and gold color scheme, chrome accents, and light weight design, this machine is a true gem. It comes with accessories and is in its original state, making it a valuable addition to any collection. The time period of manufacture is unknown, but it is speculated to be in the 1950s, but the serial number may indicate YOM. This machine was made in the United States and has not been modified. The product line is Feather Weight #221.

This clean unit is in used as-is condition and I tested to find the foot petal works, motor turns & sewing mechanism operates fine, and the lightbulb works. Inspection and lubrication prior to every day use is highly recommended.

No warranty or returns are accepted however the unit offered is the exact one in the attached photos. The electrical cord has some tape and the unit and case have some scrapes and wear from being used.

This unit includes the case, (2) keys, bobbins with thread, lubricating grease, numerous accessories, operating manual, and dress measurement chart.
