Here is a gorgeous smooth running , original, 1948 Singer sewing machine model 15-91 with the super smooth running potted or direct drive  motor.  This machine sewed incredibly smoothly and sewed a perfect stitch top and bottom.  This 15-91 runs incredibly fast , smooth and is a machine to sew with.

This machine in beautiful condition and runs amazingly fast and smoothly.

This machine bears serial number JC 666376 .The 15-91 is a beautiful sewing machine is heavy duty able to sew fine fabrics and  leather and thick denim. Its amazing how smoothly, quietly and strongly it runs with that beautiful potted motor hum.

This machine has been fully tested to sews a beautiful stitch as seen in my photos. We tested all functions. Bobbin winder works excellently  light works with a flick of the switch, tensioner was tested to work correctly, feed dogs drop for embroidery or free motion sewing.

Comes complete and ready to sew! Comes with power cord and original Simanco pedal controller with excellent wiring, 6 bobbins,  and the bobbin case in the machine

Condition is excellent,  all decals are in 98% intact condition and bright gold and vivid in color. The super shiny black lacquer paint is in amazing beautiful condition and this machine shows only very  light pre use with some typical light pin marks on the bed.  All the metal parts, cover plates, 2needle plates, needle bar etc look like new. And it sews as good as it looks. Smooth, strong and fast. The potted motor is in superb condition and runs this 15-91 extremely fast with that lovely potted motor hum.
