A French Provincial rush seat prie-dieu ("pray to god") prayer chair or kneeler, with wooden frame, hand/elbow/book rest, and a handwoven rush seat, 1800s. Good vintage condition.
Seat is about 12" from the floor, and the armrest is about 18" above that. Total height is about 31-32". Width of armrest is 19". Length from back of armrest to front of seat is about 18".
Rushes are soft and tightly woven.
