This listing is for a vintage Royal Copenhagen Langelinie (which means Long Line - the pier/park/promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark which is home to the Little Mermaid statute) souvenir miniature dish. This wonderful versatile dish can also be used a miniature pin dish, trinket dish or simply the perfect addition to any home décor. According to Wikipedia The Little Mermaid Statue "The Little Mermaid is a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark...Based on the 1837 fairy tale of the same name by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the small and unimposing statue is a Copenhagen icon and has been a major tourist attraction since its unveiling in 1913."

The back of it has the makers mark for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark 2/2010 Langelinie stamped on it and a opening for hanging wire. It has a 3 1/4" diameter and is 1/2" tall. It is in excellent vintage condition - no marks, chips or cracks, but some minor crazing.
