This figurine 3125, “Queen Victoria” was sculped by Pauline Parsons in 1887 and is a limited edition of 5000 and this is number 4183 as shown on the authentication certificate.

It was Pauline Parsons who was asked by a director at Royal Doulton to create a “Queen of the Realms” to include Victoria and three others,Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Anne and Mary Queen of Scots. She successfully created the four portraits from paintings and drawings of the times and from inputs from other artists. The result is four colourful figurines as they would have dressed in their time as queen

Queen Victoria is in a pink and white dress and is holding a long eared dog with the marking of a King Charles spaniel. Another similar dog is on its hind legs on a foot stool being petted by Victoria. She wears a red rose on her dress and has gold bracelets on her wrist and round her neck.
