This figurine 3099, “Queen Elizabeth I ” was sculped by Pauline Parsons in 1886 and is a limited edition of 5000 and this is number 3422 as shown on authentication certificate.

It was Pauline Parsons who was asked by a director at Royal Doulton to create a “Queen of the Realms” to include Victoria and three others,Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Anne and Mary Queen of Scots. She successfully created the four portraits from paintings and drawings of the times and from inputs from other artists. The result is four colourful figurines as they would have dressed in their time as queen.

Queen Elizabeth I wears an elaborate red and white dress with a wasp like waist. She carried a 22 gold face mask as the aristocracy were wont to do to hide their true identity.The figurine is 23cm tall and weighs 570gms The photos are part of the description
