I bought this Heathkit 20m single band SSB transceiver from a friend in 2014, When purchased the transceiver was working perfectly, with a full 200W output. However, the seller kept the original matching HP-23 power supply for an HW-100 transceiver he was restoring at the time.
I have never powered up the transceiver since it was bought.

The standard of construction is very good (see closeup photos)- apparently built by a professional amateur for the first owner. The radio is in good cosmetic condition.
These radios have a very good reputation for receiver performance and good quality audio, transmit and receive (take a look at the reviews on eHam).

A power supply will be needed- which is the key to getting the radio operational once more.

Nothing quite like the glow of valve filaments in a cosy shack at night.

The radio will be carefully packed and sent with UPS next day service
