**This is a 5-3/8" Mount Pleasant Iowa Gorham Vine pattern Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon from around 1910 or so, made by a very good silver maker back then, Gorham, an American company.  

The goldwashed bowl is hand-engraved "Mt. Pleasant, Ia." Mount Pleasant is located in the southeast part of the state.

The spoon itself is in the rarely seen Vine pattern, introduced in 1910.

Length:  about 5-3/8"

It weighs about 16.1 grams of sterling silver.

It is stamped "Sterling Pat. 1910" with the old lion-anchor-G hallmark maker's mark for Gorham.  

Engraving (dates, monograms, etc.):  "M" on the front of the handle and the engraving in the bowl.

Condition: Very good condition with some minor normal tarnish and light wear from age and handling.
