This vintage postcard is a great collectible!
The cenotaph is a monument that was erected in honor of the Canadian soldiers who fought in WW1. It is located in the Victory Square and was unveiled on April 27, 1924.

The ornamentations on the stone include one long sword and two wreaths, one of laurels, the other of poppies; both entwined with maple leaves. A stone replica of the steel helmet, as used in the war of 1914–1918, adorns three corner buttresses. A larger wreath of laurels surrounds the numerals "1914–1918" at the base of the front. Slots in a receptacle of three bronze maple leaves hold the staffs of the Union Jack, the Canadian Red Ensign, the Flag of Canada, the White Ensign, and RCAF Ensign, always flying, which are placed there by the Royal Canadian Legion, and the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League, and renewed four times each year.

The Dominion Building is a commercial building. It was Vancouver's first steel-framed high-rise. At 175 feet, the thirteen-story, Second Empire style building was the tallest commercial building in the British Empire upon its completion in 1910. Its architect was John S. Helyer, who is said to have died after falling off the staircase in the front of the building, though this is an urban legend.

There are either creases or bumps in all of the corners. Please check the photos carefully so you can make your own judgment of its condition.
