A superb studio art pottery stoneware dish with black sgraffito decoration of a standing nude among grapes and vine leaves in the manner of Matisse. Of shallow, circular form on a short foot. Impressed mark to the base, possibly French Indochina or wider Southeast Asian, mid to late 20th century. In excellent condition.

Condition:
In excellent condition. There is some minor gaze wear on some of the raised surfaces. Otherwise free of damage or restoration.
