JEFF LARKIN - Salt Glazed Stoneware Bottle

Jeff Larkin (American) at Leach Pottery, St Ives: a tall salt glazed stoneware bottle with with brushed circle decoration. In perfect condition free of damage. Impressed personal and St Ives seals to the foot. 

Larkin studied under Warren MacKenzie at the University of Minnesota before serving a two year apprenticeship at Leach Pottery, St Ives, 1976-1978, having been inspired by the work of Bernard Leach and Bill Marshall. Following his apprenticeship, he returned to the US, establishing Featherstone Pottery with his brother Tom at Red Wing, Minnesota. Signed examples of his UK work are rare, as are any examples of salt glazed wares from the Leach Pottery.

Delivery time:

All items are normally posted within two days of payment. Prices quoted are usually for Royal Mail 2nd Class economy delivery (3-5 working days) or (for items over 2 kg) Parcelforce 48 hour delivery. If you prefer a faster service or require signed-for delivery, please contact me for a quotation.

International Postage:

Please contact me prior to bidding if you would like a quotation for international shipping. I regret that I cannot send items that a re particularly fragile, bulky or heavy. Due to the cost of postage, no returns will be accepted from items sent overseas.
