Vintage circa 1930's, Rare surviving example of a carry around picnic box/basket manufactured so as to resemble a wicker basket, constructed in tin with an enamel painted finish the picnic box retains original bentwood handles and hinged lid with latch clasp enclosure.
The Picnic basket when closed shut stands 19 cm tall with a width and breadth of 41 cm and 27 cm respectively.
In undamaged condition and with only light age related wear present it makes for a fabulous period piece, still perfectly useable.
