This is an excellent condition copy of SPI's, AUSTERLITZ, published in 1973. Austerlitz is a tactical level simulation of battle between the French and combined Russian-Prussian armies in December 1805. The battle is considered one of Napoleon's greatest victories, in which he smashed the allied army and ended the War of the Third Coalition.
The game uses a scale of 400 meter hexes and 1 hour game turns. Units represent the actual brigades/divisions of Infantry, Cavalry and Artillery involved. The game system is similar to and a precursor of SPI's Blue & Gray. The components are in excellent condition. The rules, charts and map are crisp clean and solid. The unit counters are also excellent. The game box is clean and solid, although there is some minor fading from age and some edgewear on the interior. The components include:
1)22"x28" Game Map
100)Punched Counters(confirmed)
1)Rules Folder
2)Terrain Effects Charts
Errata Sheet
Copy of Counter Scan
