Wonderful condition example of a classic - powerful Minelab Explorer SE

This was a loft find machine that had been stored away like this shortly after originally being purchased

I haven’t cleaned this machine at all and there isn’t a spec of mud on it so I don’t know if it was ever used in anger but it seems like it was barely used if at all.

The auction includes a SEF 12x10 coil with coil cover, this also looks unused. This is a coil that I have used myself on other Explorer machines in the past and it is an excellent stable coil which is much better than the standard FBS slimline coil.

There is a spare lower stem which looks unused

The machine comes with an instruction book that has signs of being read and some marks to the cover.

Includes an empty battery pack to use any AA batteries x8 and also a rechargeable battery pack which is the original one, this pack accepts charge but I’m unsure about its discharge rate due to its age.

There is also an official Minelab battery charger which is a two pin one and will require a UK adaptor.

Lastly there is a Minelab branded box cover you can keep it dry and clean in the field

I can’t imagine being able to find a better example of this machine
