I have been given a selection of fabulous silk scarves to sell by the even more fabulous Dorothea. She's now in her mid 80s and  worked for the UN mainly in Africa in the 70s, at a time when to be taken seriously as a woman in Africa, she had to power dress. So she always bought a new scarf to impress the local dignitaries. They are all in super condition, and she's ironed them as well!

For added provenance, Dorothea told me she bought all these (there are 3 more, see my other items) Hermes scarves from their shop in Rome when she lived there between 1968 and 1975
