As detailed in the item description, I spent £12500 on new parts, panels, respray etc only to find that the guy who had done the work (was highly recommended to me) had bodged the chassis work and had given her back to me in an unsafe condition - letting me drive her for some 9mths before this came to light. Sadly the cutting out of weak/ rusty bits and his 'bodging' of the new welding has left her probably in need of transplanting onto a new chassis, or her being a project for someone who can weld themselves to keep cost down.

As you can see from the pics she is gorgeous, she has Porsche wheels, very comfortable substantial front seats, most of the new panels I had installed are pictured but not all, along with new leisure battery, chrome exhaust and lovely retro style interior which we did ourselves. Original rock n roll bed etc, gas hob, sink, fridge.

CURTAINS NOT INCLUDED

Extensive welding needed to underneath, most of the panels have been replaced, original top with popper/ pop off roof vinyl. Probably a new chassis might be simpler for her - or she could be broken down for parts but I'm really hoping this isnt her fate.

She has been garaged since I purchased her some 10yrs ago. Engine is great, she goes really well as her previous owner had a new engine put in her. We used her lots and had no issues other than the usual enforced breaks when it was hot and sunny - this due to her being air-cooled, one of the charms of these original vans.

Viewing possible, battery will need a charge to get her out of the garage. Other than that she will be 'sold as seen'. You would need a trailer to move her as she is not roadworthy.

Thanks for looking x
