The potting medium used can be organic but must be a fast draining type. Course orchid mix ( bark, lava , charcoal, perlite, hydroton, etc) is an excellent amendment to liberally use. As an epiphyte, it can not have constantly soggy roots. It can be grown outdoors in locations that do not freeze. Acceptable light requirements range from light shade, filtered sun, filtered midday sun. Otherwise, it requires average Hoya light exposure for indoor growing. This Hoya is an agreeable plant with average Hoya care. Adjust these suggestions to fit your specific growing conditions. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions about this plant.
