This is a pair of Royal Doulton Wellesley water goblets, which can be used for wine. Discontinued now, they were made from 1991-2004. They are each 8 3/8" tall, and 3 1/2" across the top. 

In pristine condition, I see no chips, cracks, cloudiness or other stains in the glass. The one manufacturing imperfection I detect is a tiny divot in the rim of one glass - it feels smooth to the touch and does not feel like a fleabite mark.
