They've been drying indoors for over a year now, and they're all at 14% moisture content.

  VERY tight grained pieces with beautiful orange/brown colors! OVER 40 RINGS PER INCH!!  The end cuts are wax sealed. Some checks and cracks, and missing bark.

Yew wood is hard, strong, dense, and turns/works/carves excellent! It takes a finish better than most fine-grained hardwoods.
