all original 1930's american made vintage industrial galvanized steel wire lamp guard

Features a lamp band with set screw for engagement with the shell socket. the wire enclosure is comprised of galvanized steel with typical surface wear. the bottom elements consists of a series of overlapping loops terminating in eyes along the engaging ring that pivot inwards and outwards. possibly fabricated by the flexible steel lacing co., chicago, il., or the mcgill mfg co., valparaiso, ind. the portable bulb guard is structurally sound and intact. this particular guard comes equipped with both an integrated (i.e., stationary) bent steel reflector and a bent steel rod hook. measures approximately 6 inches tall with a 3 1/4 inch diameter.
