In Norse mythology,  Viking warriors would demonstrate with this icon their will to go to battle and accept whatever fate the gods had in store for them. 
• The shield is made out of 15mm thick birch wood, painted, and varnished by hand, impregnated with linseed oil and waxed with wax mastic. It comes with a wood handlebar installed on the back.
• The shield can be used as a decorative wall hanger or as a functional piece for medieval reenactment, LARP or for collection.
