Rare Vintage Duchy Pottery Cornwall Green Fish Gluggle Jug

Here we have a Green Glazed Fish Gluggle or Glug Glug Jug from Duchy Pottery in Cornwall.

Although it is similar to other Jugs by Dartmouth Pottery or Fosters we have not been able to find another example.

The story of Gluggle Jugs dates back to the mid-19th century in Staffordshire, England. Originally designed as practical pouring jugs for the kitchen, these fish-shaped vessels quickly gained popularity for their playful aesthetic and distinctive "gluggling" sound.
