Our legacy, and our children too, want to have as much of our beautiful blue planet as possible. Our contribution to this is as follows: we only use used cardboard boxes to pack and pad your items. So much packaging is thrown away, so why not reuse it or recycle it for padding, our children will thank us.

Note on the disposal of used batteries

The following notice is aimed at those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form delivered to them (end users):

1. Free return of old batteries

Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries so that proper disposal can be guaranteed. You can hand in used batteries at a municipal collection point or at your local store. As a battery distributor, we are also obliged to take back old batteries, although our take-back obligation is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range. You can therefore either send used batteries of the type mentioned above back to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge directly to our shipping warehouse at the address given in the legal notice.

2. Meaning of the battery symbols

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed out garbage can (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries that contain more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury, more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium or more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located under the garbage can symbol - where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb " stands for lead and "Hg" for mercury.

 

Assessment in the school grading system

Rating level: 1A

• Condition 1: Item is in new condition with no defects or damage.
• Condition 2: Condition grade 2 means that the item is in good condition and has no major defects. However, upon closer inspection it may show slight signs of wear.
• Condition 3: Used condition without major optical or technical defects. The item only has minor defects and signs of wear.
• Condition 4: Used condition. The item shows heavy signs of wear.
• Addendum B: The item has visible damage
• Addendum D: The item has severe damage or the main function is defective. To be used as a spare part only
• Addition F: Items with missing attachments or accessories. The function of the existing parts is given
