Made with 100% soft stretchy wool with a feel of felt or flannel, this chic Officer's blazer embodies Lauren style with Waterbury Royal Crest-embossed antiqued metal buttons at the closure and shoulder epaulets and feature signature ultra-luxurious gold & silver *bullion wire cuffs, which were made by hand using a highly specialized technique known only by a select group of highly skilled craftspeople around the world. Bossy yet decidedly feminine with it's shape-enhancing curves, this Polo Ralph Lauren Blazer is for the woman who wants to conquer. Tailored to perfection, this black blazer also has a notched lapel, sculpted flap pockets at the waist that are still sealed shut, and a shaped silhouette and rear peplum hem that celebrates the female form.
*Bullion wire is an embroidery material made entirely from metal and a very small portion of gold. Despite also being referred to as “goldwork,” actual gold bullion accounts for a trace amount of its material. Traditionally the number would have been 2 percent, but it’s more common today for bullion wire to be made from a mixture of white metals and 0.01 percent gold called “gilt.” The gold and silver bullion wire is then hand-stitched onto the material, lending a shiny, eye-catching appeal that no other embroidery can match. ALL bullion is made by only a select group of highly skilled artisans worldwide. Machines can’t make this glorious handiwork.
