Please be aware that by bidding on our items, you acknowledge and understand the following information, along with our terms. If you are not in full agreement or lack experience in purchasing natural gold, we recommend starting your gold buying journey with a reputable gold retailer. Gaining a solid understanding of what you are investing in beforehand is crucial. Until then, please refrain from placing a bid.

Here are some important details about our gold nuggets:

- When initially discovered, our gold nuggets are fully covered in quartz and ironstone, with no visible signs of gold. Only after feeding them through the tumbler do they break down and become visible in the sluice runs. We then conduct a mild cleaning process involving an ultrasonic cleaner and a gentle acid solution, which removes most of the unwanted quartz, ironstone, and impurities while maintaining the natural discolouration and characteristics of the gold nugget. Finally, we run it through a polishing tumbler to add a slight surface shine, giving you a beautifully clean natural gold nugget.

- If you prefer a more electro-shiny look, please feel free to contact us, and we will provide guidance. However, it's essential to understand that once the gold nuggets are altered, they cannot be returned to their original natural state. We leave them unaltered to allow you to decide your preferred look.

- Each gold nugget comes with accompanying documentation, including the date mined, location, mine, land, terrain, ground, depth, and devices used during the prospecting process.

- Please note that individual gold nuggets have not undergone a purity assessment, as adjacent drill holes have shown high finesse. Should you require an accurate purity calculation, you may choose to send the gold nugget for a full mineral assessment at your expense. Natural gold is not 24K/100% pure; its purity typically ranges from 18K/75% to 21K/87.5%. Please inform us before bidding if you require this information and the associated costs.

- If you plan to purchase multiple nuggets over several days, please make payment after each auction. Subsequent items can be invoiced without the postage fee or refunded, allowing us to combine them once you have finished bidding. Remember, payment is required after each auction.

- Due to the exorbitant rates charged by Australia Post, our Express Postage with Signature on Delivery and Tracking service is priced at $15.00 AUD ($40 AUD for overseas customers).

- If you reside in an area with COVID-19 restrictions, please understand that delays may occur, which are beyond our control. We urge you to exercise patience during these challenging times.

- For international customers, delays in postage may occur due to factors outside our control. While we provide tracking information, we cannot be held responsible for any international delays. If this is a concern for you, we kindly ask that you refrain from bidding.

- If you wish to purchase insurance coverage, please wait for our invoice before making payment. The cost of insurance is $2.50 AUD per $100 AUD insured. Please note that we will not be liable if your item goes missing, should you choose to waive insurance coverage.

- To ensure the safe delivery of your purchased items, we highly recommend having them sent to a post office box, as it will remain in their care until you collect the goods.

- If you have any questions whatsoever, please don't hesitate to ask before placing your bid. We want to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for all our valued customers. Please note that we do not accept returns or offer refunds.

Attention eBay shoppers,

At Aussie Prospector, we are committed to maintaining a fair and transparent marketplace for all users. It has come to our attention that shill bidding can occur, even when the bidder knows the seller. Shill bidding, where a bidder has insider information about an item, can create an unfair advantage and lead to inflated prices for unsuspecting bidders.

We want to emphasise that shill bidding is strictly prohibited on eBay, including in our auctions. We take this matter seriously, and any bids that we deem to be unfair or manipulative will be promptly removed or blocked. Our goal is to ensure that all bidders have an equal opportunity to compete and secure items at fair prices.

For further information on what constitutes shill bidding, we encourage you to review eBay's guidelines regarding this issue. It is important that we maintain a level playing field and prevent any unfair practices within our platform.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in upholding the integrity of our eBay marketplace.

Sincerely,

Aussie Prospector.
