A very nice WearEver #855-275 fountain pen in Black, Bronze, & Brown pattern with a 14k fine nib. This WearEver is surprisingly well made and is in very good vintage condition showing signs of age and wear with a few marks, dents, and dings. Very clean gold-filled trim. Blind cap marked with a “K”. 14k nib marked with a “W”. Barrel imprint reads “WearEver #855-275 New Bergen, New Jersey”. Overall, a lightly used example. A few scratches on the barrel, some teeth marks on the blind cap, and a few marks on the section (pictured). Very clean feed in clear plastic adds a nice touch. Push button filling system works great. New ink sack installed on 5/22/24. Cap screws on and off smoothly and posts well. No cracks, damage, or issues to note. The 14k nib is marked with a “W” and offers a nice fine line with mild flex. Please see writing sample in photos. This pen measures approximately 5 3/8 inches (136.2mm) in length capped. A beautiful WearEver fountain pen with a striking pattern and a nice 14k nib, restored in good working condition.
