On the obverse of the coin, in a circle of beads, there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine surrounded by an allegorical composition of the sun and a stylized wing. birds and stars, which embodies the childhood dream of reaching cosmic heights, and circular inscriptions: UKRAINE/ 2005/ 20 /NRIVEN, as well as the designation of the metal, its fineness - Ag 925, clean weight - 62.2 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin there is an image of the AN-124 `Ruslan` aircraft and between the outer edge of the coin and the beaded circle there are circular inscriptions: at the top - AIRCRAFT OF UKRAINE; below - AN-124 `Ruslan`, between which there is a holographic logo `AN`.
